San Francisco / Bay Area Specialty Coffee Map

This is an updated copy of the map originally found on the 7x7 Fully caffeinated Citywide Map. My plan is to create a version that anyone can add locations and eventually expands out of SF. If you have any changes or additions to the map, please email me with as much information as your can: thekindbrew@gmail.com or @thekindbrew. Also please visit another very detailed CA coffee/espresso map by Tim @espressophile

View this page on your iPhone and the cafes nearest to your current location will appear here.

Contraband in Nob Hill just opened a few days ago. They are selling their own beans which are apparently roasted in Oakland. I had their espresso blend and a single origin Kintamani pulled on a Synesso Hydra. Both were quite good,

Duboce Park Cafe serves Sightglass, just like its older sibling (Dolores Park Cafe).

btw, Caffe Duetto in Emeryville is now serving Bicycle Coffee, not Blue Bottle. I was there last week. Really nice-looking baked treats!

Update– farm:table is now using coffee from Roast Co. in Oakland. See http://www.roastco.com/pages/find-us

updated! thanks, i havent been there in a year or more. do they have Verve also or only Roast Co. ?

      • gabalafou

I’m not 100% sure but I am pretty sure they do not serve Verve coffee anymore because I haven’t seen any mention of Verve anywhere in the cafe recently. Furthermore, in my experience, it seems that most cafes choose one and only one roaster, which they advertise — one says: “proudly serving Blue Bottle”; another: “proudly serving Four Barrel”, etc.

I was at farm:table last weekend, and they were using Verve. I don’t know if that means they’ve stopped using Roast Co. or if that means they sometimes use Verve, sometimes use Roast.
